Ravid Hkn

Ravid Hkn, Textile artist and fashion designer, graduated from the Textile department of Shankar's school of design, specialising in knitting. He was the 2018 recipient of the America-Israel Culture Foundation Scholarship for textile design for his outstanding achievements. Recently, HKN showcased his work during the Israeli Fashion week.

The artist creates textiles in various knitting techniques - crochet, knitting needles, embroidery and silk printing. Han describes his process of knitting as a physical reaction, “Wild Knitting” - a process that allows the artist’s hand to be free and wild, and at times calm and meditative.
